Springfield is now home to a small-business micro-lending program aimed at helping entrepreneurs launch and grow their ventures. The initiative, called the Springfield Area Microloan Fund, will be run by the Office of Planning and Economic Development, according to The State Journal-Register.
Plainfield Talks Reinstating Impact Fees, Economic Incentive Policy
According to The Herald-News, officials in Plainfield, IL may bring back residential impact fees for new home construction. In 2010, the village halted fees totaling $6,750 a home.
