Fulton Plays a Role in Avalon Expansion
The Development Authority of Fulton County has played a role in three major economic development projects throughout the area. The authority has recently underwritten more than $125 million in economic development projects for north, south and central parts of the county.
NMTCs Used for New Grocery Store in Atlanta
A new Kroger Marketplace grocery store recently opened in Southeast Atlanta thanks in part to $36 million of New Markets Tax Credits provided the Reinvestment Fund.
Funding OK'd for Inland Port in Murray
An inland port planned for the Crandall area in northern Murray County took a big step forward when the Georgia Ports Authority approved funding for the project.

Clayton County, GA officials blocked a plan to enable a nonprofit to buy and renovate three apartment complexes using tax-exempt bonds issued by Wisconsin-based Public Finance Authority.

CDFA Summer School is a week long series of courses presented by the CDFA Training Institute. These courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Participants may register for one, two, or three courses during CDFA Summer School. Complete three courses, and you will have fulfilled half of the requirements for the DFCP Program.
