Georgia's Community Improvement Districts
This report from Georgia State University investigates Community Improvement Districts (CIDs). CIDs are an increasingly popular method of promoting economic growth in Georgia, with 25 active CIDs currently.

Fulton Plays a Role in Avalon Expansion
The Development Authority of Fulton County has played a role in three major economic development projects throughout the area. The authority has recently underwritten more than $125 million in economic development projects for north, south and central parts of the county.

NMTCs Used for New Grocery Store in Atlanta
A new Kroger Marketplace grocery store recently opened in Southeast Atlanta thanks in part to $36 million of New Markets Tax Credits provided the Reinvestment Fund.

CDFA Summer School is a week long series of courses presented by the CDFA Training Institute. These courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Participants may register for one, two, or three courses during CDFA Summer School. Complete three courses, and you will have fulfilled half of the requirements for the DFCP Program.
