Perryville Board Issues Tax Abatement to TG Missouri
Perryville News reports that a tax abatement will secure $110M in new lines and equipment for TG Missouri in Perryville. Municipalities in Missouri are authorized to issue these type of bonds to finance projects for private corporations, partnerships, and individuals.

Legislature to Weigh $12M on New Agriculture Tax Credits
The Missouri Times reports about new legislation designed to incentivize new farmers to invest in Missouri operations. The legislation will make $8M in tax credits available for the sale of existing farmland to a "new" farmer.

Columbia Business Owners Hoping for Tax District to Move Forward
Property owners are petitioning for a community improvement district (CID) along a local business corridor in Columbia, MO to fund infrastructure improvements, according to Columbia Daily Tribune. A collective effort to gather signatures from property owners has been an initial step in creating the district. Establishing a CID requires more than half of business owner to vote in favor of the district.

EMAA Partnership in MO Recognized by USDA Rural Development
USDA Rural Development State Director, Anita Dunning, presented a certificate to the East Missouri Action Agency. According to the Daily Journal Online Executive Director, Bill Bunch and EMAA is being recognized for its ongoing partnership and participation in several Rural Development programs.
