500 Borrowers Committed to Clean Water
In order to help strengthen the resiliency of the Pacific Northwest, Craft3 has repaired or replaced 508 failing water systems with the Clean Water Loan. According to Craft3, by enabling borrowers to hire local professionals, the Clean Water Loan is supporting small businesses and creating jobs.
Superdrought of 2015: 3 Things WA Must Consider
According to Crosscut, to face the drought, there are a range of funding options available. For example, DOE funds will finance deepening walls, creating new walls, and buying water from those with a surplus to distribute.
State Announces $1.6M in Public Infrastructure Project Investments
Through infrastructure improvement and economic feasibility studies, the Washington State Community Revitalization Board approved $1.6 million in grants and loans targeted at business growth and job creation in four Washington counties.
Reform of EB-5 Proposed in Senate
Congress may reform the EB-5 program because it has impacted many prosperous areas rather than rural and/or impoverished areas. According to the Seattle Times, $2 billion in projects in the Seattle metro area are being funded in part by EB-5 capital.
