Colorado Lending Source Launches Community Advantage Loan Program Colorado Lending Source introduced the Community Advantage loan program at their annual meeting. The program will increase funding opportunities to small businesses in underserved communities. $10M RLF to Boost Denver Affordable Housing According to The Denver Post, the new loan program is funded by $6M from the city and county of Denver, $3M from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and $1M from Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. The new fund will target projects that are eligible for but may not receive low-income housing credits from CHFA. Energy Efficient and Affordable Homes Planned for Former Mine Scarred Property EPA's Brownfields Sustainability Pilots provide technical assistance to assist communities in achieving greener, more sustainable results when redeveloping brownfields. These pilots also provide models for other communities across the country. Food Systems Finance in Colorado LiveWell Colorado hosted this discussion on diverse options for funding and financing healthy food retail in communities across the state. Guest speakers provide information on some programs and how to apply. Colorado's 2015 Creative Industries Summit Set for April 23 - 24 The Colorado Creative Industries Summit will be held at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center in the Fort Collins Creative District. Topics address practical, nuts-and-bolts approaches to creative business and how-to's for working collectively with creatives, municipalities and businesses.

2015 CDFA Colorado Conference April 29, 2015 Join CDFA for the first annual Colorado Financing Roundtable Conference on April 29, 2015 as we focus on "Unlocking Development Finance in the Centennial State." This one-day conference will feature economic development finance experts and leaders from around the state discussing innovative development finance tools and projects, emerging resources and approaches, and how these methods can catalyze investment in the Colorado economy.
