$17.5M JEDA Bonds Finance New Business School Building at The Citadel
The Series 2016 Economic Development Revenue Bond issue will help pay for construction, acquisition and equipping of Bastin Hall, a 43,950-square-foot facility consisting of classroom and administrative space which will house the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business at The Citadel.
Lawmakers Pushing to Preserve Billions in Tax Credits for Nuclear Plants in GA and SC
House lawmakers are pushing legislation that would save federal tax credits from expiring that are worth billions to the Plant Vogtle project and a similar plant in South Carolina, according to a published report.

SC Loses Fight to Get Nuclear Tax Credit in Gov. Spending Bill
The budget agreement worked out in Congress disappointed every member of the South Carolina delegation after a highly desired nuclear power plant tax credit was left out. At issue is a credit Congress created in 2005 to incentivize nuclear power production. But it gave plants a 2020 deadline to complete their work in order to qualify.

These courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Participants may register for one, two, or three courses during CDFA Summer School. Complete three courses, and you will have fulfilled half of the requirements for the DFCP Program.
