Lawmakers Push for Permanent Rule Tightening at DRPA
The Inquirer reports on a rare bistate effort, in which Pennsylvania and New Jersey officials proposed an overhaul of the Delaware River Port Authority to ban economic-development spending and increase public accountability.

DCED Awards Bethlehem Grant for Neighborhood Improvements
According to the Pennsylvania DCED website, Gov. Corbett announced that the DCED awarded the City of Bethlehem a $225K Keystone Communities grant to support neighborhood improvements to attract visitors and new businesses and improve the overall quality of life for the residents of the City.

DCED Brings Brazil-based Torcomp USA to Franklin County
Area Development has reported the Pennsylvania DCED offered a funding proposal including a $75K Pennsylvania First Program grant to the Brazil-based Torcomp USA, a company with plans to create at least 73 jobs over the next three years.

PA Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program Guidelines
The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development released rules for its new state historic tax credit. These guidelines give an overview of the program, along with eligibility requirements and how to apply.
