Cliff Kellogg Named Executive Director of Detroit Federal Working Group
Cliff Kellogg, director of the Office of State Small Business Credit Initiative, has been appointed by President Obama as the liaison to the city of Detroit as it undergoes bankruptcy. Mr. Kellogg did excellent work leading the SSBCI program for four years, and we wish him the best in his new endeavor.

WHEDA Chooses Groups to Manage $4M in Venture Capital
Three groups have been chosen by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority to manage over $4M in venture capital funds. The groups will be required to raise a minimum of $4 in private money for every $1 WHEDA provides.

CA Allocates More SSBCI Funds Than Other States
California has allocated more small business funds through the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Program than any other state. In terms of percentage of SSBCI allocation deployed, California was 39th highest.
