West Orange, NJ Begins $230M Redevelopment
Workers have begun restoring the 400,000-square-foot Edison Storage Battery factory, the first step in a $230 million redevelopment project. The project will be partially financed through municipal bonds.

NJEDA Approves $1M Loan Through VC Fund
NJEDA approved Admera Health for a $1 million loan through the Edison Innovation VC Growth Fund. Through the fund, up to $1 million in subordinated convertible debt financing is available for VC supported technology companies. 

Restore NY Grant Supports $4M RiverWalk Project in Jefferson County
ESD aided the $4 million Jefferson County project with a Restore NY grant of $1 million. The project included clearing the foundation of the site and constructing an 18,000 square-foot, mixed-use building for retail, restaurant and living space.

NYPA, ESD Provide $1M to Buffalo Plant
The New York Power Authority approved a $500,000 grant to support a $25 million General Mills' project. Empire State Development also awarded $500,000 in tax credits to the company.

South Jersey Marina Using RLF Program to Dredge
South Jersey Marina is receiving a low-interest loan from the Cape May County Commercial Fishing Revolving Loan program. The revolving loan fund is now more than 20 years old and has grown to over $4 million.

Empire State Development Commits $6M to Upstate Manufacturing Facility
Empire State Development announced that Agri-Mark, Inc. will receive $6 million to modernize its Chateaugay operations. The funding will come from tax credits and incentives offered through the Economic Transformation Program.
