University of OR Reports Faster Than Normal Economic Growth
According to a report issued by the University of Oregon, the state's economy grew faster than normal in the final months of 2014 and is expected to continue growing in 2015.

Accepting Applications for Enterprise Zone Designations
Business Oregon is pleased to announce the opening of an application round to designate Oregon Enterprise Zones that have or will terminate and become available in 2015. Inside an enterprise zone, qualified businesses may be exempted from the local property tax liability on new capital investments for at least three years and up to five years.

OEDA Releases 2015 Legislative Agenda

2014 Venture Capital Activity Increased More Than 80%
Thanks to a number of tech companies and new startups, the Oregonian reports, the state experienced a surge in venture capital investment last year with more than $280 million in venture capital activity.
