JEDA Bonds Finance New Student Housing at Converse College
NCCD-Spartanburg Properties is using $10.2 million in bond funding from the South Carolina JEDA to finance new student housing on the campus of Converse College in Spartanburg. The financing includes $10 million in tax-exempt revenue bonds and $215,000 in taxable bonds.

Holroyd Precision Components to Generate Investment & New Jobs in SC
Holroyd Precision Components, a sub-contract manufacturing division of Precision Technologies Group (PTG) Limited, is establishing its first U.S. manufacturing operations – Holroyd Precision Rotors, Inc. – in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The $12.5 million investment is expected to create 23 new jobs.
Carolina Canners Expands Production Plant In Cheraw, SC
An independent Pepsi bottler and production cooperative, Carolina Canners, Inc., is expanding its operations center in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The $45 million capital investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs. As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
North Augusta Votes on Municipal Improvement District
North Augusta City Council meets to vote on several key pieces for Project Jackson, including the Master Development Agreement. On the agenda is the first reading of the Municipal Improvement District and second reading of an Installment Purchase Transaction related to Project Jackson.
Bonds Finance Improvements, Expansion at Anderson County YMCA
The Anderson Area YMCA is using $7 million in bond funding to retire 1999 bond issues that originally financed the Anderson AREA YMCA including a lap pool, locker rooms, gym, indoor track, wellness center, community meeting room and nursery care room at the facility.
Greer Middle College Charter High School Uses Bond to Start Construction
Greer Middle College Charter High School is using $6.6 million in tax-exempt financing to replace 29 portable units with a new school building on the Benson Campus of Greenville Technical College in Taylors.
