The New York Brownfield Cleanup Program was given a 10-year extension in the $142 billion state budget passed this week, according to the Star Gazette. A series of reforms included in the extension are meant to root out abuses that were previously present in the program.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced $5.8 million in supplemental funding to RLF grantees who demonstrated successful loans or subgrants.
