The Huffington Post reports the funds will be used to decrease burn severity and increase water availability for local utilities. Renovate America Nets $90M for Green Financing According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Renovate America, a San Diego green finance provider for home energy and water improvements, has raised $90 million of venture capital funding. Renovate America provides the funding mechanism for PACE in California. CA Governor Signs Legislation to Help Improve Disadvantaged Communities The Governor of California signed two bills to give local governments more economic development tools to help improve disadvantaged communities.
