With assists from the state and county, a New Jersey defense contractor will move its Phillipsburg operation to the Bethlehem Commerce Center, bringing 95 high-paying engineering and manufacturing jobs across the Delaware River to the Lehigh Valley.
Community Fund Awards NMTCs For Major Neighborhood Projects
Community First Fund Board members approved a $3.3M allocation for New Market Tax Credits to construct a bilingual vocational training center. A second allocation was also approved for a charter school in York. "Community First Fund is looking for projects that will have a significant impact on communities," said board member Gerald Meck.
