SC JEDA Issues QECBs for Randolph Trucking
The South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority will loan $880,662 to Randolph Trucking so that four trucks can be converted to run on compressed natural gas. The project will be funded by Qualified Energy Conservation Bonds.

Charleston, SC Land Swap Clears Way for $42M Road
The Charleston County Aviation Authority gave the SC Dept. of Comm. 23.2 acres in exchange for an equal amount of undeveloped land. Charleston Co. will build a highway on the land with money from an $80 million bond measure passed in 2013.

Greenco Beverage Receives $8.3M in NMTC for Distribution Center
Greenville New Markets Opportunity II  has allocated $8.3 million in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to Greenco Beverage Company for the construction of a 120,000 sq. ft. distribution center on Poinsett Highway in Greenville, SC.

SC Community Loan Fund and Clemson Offer Training, Seed Capital
SC Community Loan Fund and the Clemson U. Cooperative Extension Service jointly offer an 8 week course on food finance, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship. The best project to emerge from the program receives $12,500 in seed capital for their business.

Berkeley Co, SC DOC Proposes Incentives Package to Blackbaud
The Berkeley County Council has proposed to give Blackbaud property tax breaks over the next 30 years as long as it invests a minimum of $150 million by 2029. The SC Dept. of Commerce will also grant incentives in return for Blackbaud's investment.

North Charleston Food Hub Financed Through Tax Credits
Limehouse Produce was approved for a $9 million tax credit to create space for local food producers and a food hub. The new, $5 million building will be 43,000 square feet.
