$17M in Bonds Will Support Pueblo, CO Riverwalk
"This is the first time in the history of the state of Colorado that bonds will be issued, that are being paid from state sales tax increment funds. Pueblo is leading the way for all the RTA projects in the state," explained Don Banner, with the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority.
New Loan Program Will Assist Rental Property Owners in CO
The Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program (RRLP) offers affordable financing to landlords or prospective landlords who own properties in Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel counties, for lease to low- and moderate-income renters.
CO Tourism Office Accepting Applications for Matching Grants
The Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) announced it is now accepting applications for the Marketing Matching Grant Program from Colorado not-for-profit organizations looking for assistance with tourism promotion. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 15.
CO Venture Capital: First Half of 2017 Rivals All of 2016
Colorado companies saw $169.9 million in venture capital investments in the second quarter in 31 deals. That put the state at No. 7 in the country by total venture capital investments, according to the MoneyTree report from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and CB Insights.
CO Energy Office Releases Funds for Energy and Water
The Colorado Energy Office, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, is releasing $500,000 in project assistance funds through the USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program.
