CDFA Releases 2017 Policy Agenda
CDFA is proud to release its 2017 Policy Agenda. Our agenda outlines numerous recommendations to some of the nation's most difficult development finance issues, and we hope that Congress and the Administration will use our recommendations as a roadmap to improvements in these areas. Grants, Loans, and Tax Credits Support Gordon Sinclair Move
Two PIDA loans, a $200,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, $22,500 in Wednet PA funding for employee training and $200,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits will be distributed upon the creation of the 50 new jobs.

Preserving the Past while Building the Future in Philadelphia
In the six years since Philadelphia began to slowly reverse decades of population loss, the city has seen its share of real estate development controversies. Conversations have ranged from gentrification, tax abatements, and density, but more recently they have been focused on historic preservation.

Governor Wolf Approves Over $7M in PIDA Loans
Governor Tom Wolf has announced that new state investments through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) program will help spur statewide development and will create and retain 143 jobs.

Governor Wolf Announces $81.9M for Clean Water Projects
This funding will support sixteen drinking water, wastewater and non-point source projects across twelve counties through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST). $60.7 million will go towards low interest loans and $21.2 million is awarded through grants.

NMTC Coalition Urges Supporters to Sign Letter
The NMTC Coalition is sending a letter to Congress urging leadership to protect the New Market Tax Credit. Please consider signing their letter if you support this important development tool.

New P3 Ag. Board to Tackle Economic Development in PA
The 25-member panel arose from a partnership established last year between the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and Team Pennsylvania. The board will initially focus on identifying needs and opportunities to develop a trained workforce to fill vacancies in the food and fiber industries.
