Local Businesses Survive the Tax Credit Drought
The Ledger reports that communities are searching for new ways to promote economic development with the recent loss of the Florida Entertainment Industry Financial Incentive Program. The program reportedly created 87,870 jobs and $2.3 billion in wages while production spending and additional tourism revenue totaled $7.2 billion in 2013.

Florida Entry Ports Getting Billions in Renovations
According to Fox News, Florida is on pace to host a record 100 million visitors this year, which is challenging the state's tourism infrastructure considerably. The State plans to invest $3.5 billion in capital improvements over the next five years at 15 seaports.
