CaliforniaFIRST Launches PACE Program in Sacramento
According to Sys-Con Media, CaliforniaFIRST has launched another new PACE financing program in the state, this time targeting homeowners in Sacramento.

Long Beach, California is pioneering a public-private financing method rarely used in the United States outside transportation in a $533 million project to build a new city hall, port headquarters, library and park.

CalPFA Closes Health Facility Financing
The California Public Finance Authority (CalPFA) is pleased to announce its issuance tax-exempt bonds on behalf of Verity Health System of California. CalPFA partnered with BlueMountain Capital Management to provide $160,000,000 of tax-exempt working capital to help maintain access to critical medical services.

Solar City Leads Industry Higher in CA
Bloomberg Business reports, Congress agreed to five-year extensions for the production tax credit that supports wind power and the investment tax credit for solar projects. Solar Companies got an additional boost from California, where regulators upheld policies that promote the use of rooftop panels.

Developers in Rancho Cordova Get Extension for Financing
Sacramento Business Journal reports developers of an entertainment center in Rancho Cordova have a few more months to get financing for the project. The city entered into a public-private partnership to make the project happen, committing about $1 million in infrastructure improvements.

Affordable Housing and TOD Project Opens in Vista, CA
As reported by Housing Finance, Community Housing Works announced the opening of their transit-oriented development project that features 68 affordable homes. The $20.5 million project was financed largely with low-income housing tax credits with help from $370,000 of CDBG funds from the City of Carlsbad.
