In order to create a comprehensive picture of the economic development landscape, C2ER reviewed data from a range of state statutes, reports, and websites. The numbers contained in this report are CREC and C2ER's best estimate of the dollars spent on economic development incentives at the state level in Illinois.

Quincy/Adams/Brown County Enterprise Zone Gets 15-Year Certification
The Quincy/Adams/Brown County Enterprise Zone was recertified by the state Jan. 1. The zone stretches from the Mississippi River through Quincy, parts of Adams County and along highways to Mount Sterling.

City of Paris Takes TIF to 2034
12-year term extension of the Paris Downtown Tax Increment Financing (TIF) redevelopment plan was approved by the Paris City Council on Monday, an ordinance which will allow the economic development tool to continue to be utilized until 2034.
