CDFA is proud to release its 2017 Policy Agenda. Our agenda outlines numerous recommendations to some of the nation's most difficult development finance issues, and we hope that Congress and the Administration will use our recommendations as a roadmap to improvements in these areas. $17M WHEFA Bond Financing Supports Southwest Health Center
Bond financing will be used to help Southwest Health Center finance the construction and equipping of a one-story eye clinic in Mineral Point, remodeling and expansion of two additional operating rooms in Platteville, and other expenses at Southwest Health Center's existing facilities.
5 New Communities Accepted Into WEDC Downtown Program
Prior to being accepted to the Connect Communities Program, applicants had to describe the type of activities they hope to undertake and what assistance they hope to receive as part of the program, and identify a local team that will be responsible for carrying out activities and participating in program events.
NMTC Coalition Urges Supporters to Sign Letter
The NMTC Coalition is sending a letter to Congress urging leadership to protect the New Market Tax Credit. Please consider signing their letter if you support this important development tool.
$13M Investment Sparks Kimberly Redevelopment
After three years of relative inactivity, residents should see redevelopment occur this year on the former NewPage paper mill site along the Fox River. The village used eminent domain to buy the 91-acre property for $5 million and plans to spend $2 million to prepare the land for redevelopment and another $6 million on new streets, sewers and utilities.
