MD Stadium Authority to Commission New Look at Overhauling Convention Center The Maryland Stadium Authority plans to commission a study looking at ways to renovate the Baltimore convention center, developing conceptual designs and conducting research into traffic, environmental and other impacts. Greater Baltimore Committee Backs Port Covington TIF The Greater Baltimore Committee has urged the City Council to pass a legislative package creating $535 million in public financing for the proposed Port Covington redevelopment. Howard County Seeks $127M TIF for Downtown Columbia Project Howard County is seeking $127.6 million in tax-increment financing to help pay for roads and parking garages in downtown Columbia as the Howard Hughes Corp. continues an overhaul of the city's core. CDFA Summer School August 8-12, 2016 - Baltimore, MD CDFA Summer School is a week long series of courses presented by the CDFA Training Institute. These courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Participants may register for one, two, or three courses during CDFA Summer School. Complete three courses, and you will have fulfilled half of the requirements for the DFCP Program.
