Westchester Co., NJ LDC OKs $26.5M in Bonds for Rippowam Cisqua Project
The Westchester County Local Development Corporation approved $26.5 million in tax-exempt bonds for a construction and renovation project at the Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford. The project includes a new library and media center, innovation center, arts classrooms and science labs, a new dining hall, and an outdoor amphitheater.
NJ Legislature Approves Incentives Bill over Objections
The NJ Legislature has approved a bill that would revise the schedule of incentive payments coming from the Business Incentive Employment Program. From its inception in 1996 until its close in 2013, the program generated 120,000 jobs and $12 billion in capital investment.
NJEDA Approves Grow NJ Tax Credits
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved Grow New Jersey tax credits to encourage two companies to establish locations at Bell Works, the former Bell Laboratories site in Holmdel. The companies receiving tax credits are Matawan-based iCIMS, Inc. and the Manhattan Telecommunication Corporation.
ESD Approves $425K in Tax Credits for Roth Industries
Roth Industries, a German-owned manufacturer of energy-efficient products, will expand its production, storage and distribution operations in Watertown through use of $425,000 in Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits. In return, Roth will create 12 new full-time jobs and retain 42 jobs statewide.
Essex County IDA Offers Incentives to Keep Grain Biz Local
