Congress Must Reauthorize Ex-Im Bank
The Ex-Im Bank supported and financed a total of $130 billion in exports from Washington. The Ex-Im Bank's deals involve exporters that can't otherwise attain financing and the bank works with private banks to guarantee loans.
$188M in Financing Approved for 546 Affordable Homes Across the State
According to the Housing Finance Commission, developers and nonprofit organizations will build and renovate 546 affordable homes through $188 million in financing approved by the Washington State House Finance Commission.
WA Transit Agency to Sell Nearly $1B in Green Bonds
The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority is planning to sell nearly $1 billion of green bonds to pay for its mass transit system and for possible refunding purposes. The issuance is described as the largest U.S. municipal green bond issuance to date.
