According to Cleveland.com, the new Hyatt Place Hotel project will be made possible by an agreement with Lyndhurst City Council and Legacy Village Investors to permit the sale of $15M in bonds. The plan will allow the Cuyahoga County Port Authority to sell the bonds for a 355-space parking garage.

Advance Power has closed a $899M project for construction of the Carroll County Energy project. According to Market Wired, the 700-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas electric generating facility will have the capacity to generate electricity for approximately 750,000 homes.

The creation of a new "Service Station Cleanup Fund" for abandoned gas stations will be funded through leftover Clean Ohio money. According to the Ohio Environmental Law Blog, this proposal may present a good opportunity to address these brownfield sites.

The Enquirer produced an analysis of various tax incentives in Cincinnati. The paper calls on the city to do more of this tracking itself, in order to facilitate impact reporting and recaptures on ineffective projects.

ODOT launched a $2.4 billion P3 plan for 2015, which is the first P3 deal for Ohio, according to The Bond Buyer. The plan includes 990 projects, a record for the state, officials said.
