CO Impact Fund Makes First Investment
The Colorado Impact Fund made its first investment for $3 million to Boulder-based Bhakti Chai, according to the Denver Post. The chai tea company plans to build a larger manufacturing facility to support nationwide distribution.
Steamboat Springs Downtown Moves Closer to Forming URA
Steamboat Today reports the city is moving forward with proposed downtown improvement projects. A TIF and a URA is the preferred funding mechanism for a large bulk of the projects.
Larimer County Set Up For More Small Business Help
According to Coloradoan, Larimer County authorized the funding of training classes through the SBDC for five businesses poised for rapid growth that are outside Fort Collins.
Denver Plans $856M to Redevelop National Western Complex
Denver is asking for $117 million in state sales tax increment financing via the Regional Tourism Act to redevelop the National Western Center, the DBJ reported. The city will issue bonds to finance around $670 million of the project.
