PACE Launched in St. Lucie County
PACENow interviewed Solar and Energy Loan Fund and Inland Green Capital LLC about the recent launch of a PACE program in St. Lucie County. The program finances energy efficiency, renewable energy, wind-hazard mitigation and water conservation projects.
BioNitrogen Receives Allocation of $300M to Issue Tax-Exempt Bonds
CNN Money reports BioNitrogen was awarded $300 million of private activity bond volume cap allocation to issue tax-exempt bonds for the construction of a plant in Taylor County. This is the second bond issue BioNitrogen has received from the Florida Division of Bond Finance.
CRA Approved for Parts of Lake Alfred
News Chief reports Polk County Commission approved a Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) in key areas of Lake Alfred. The CRA is part of Lake Alfred's long-term economic development plan.
All Aboard FL: No Local Gov. Would Oppose New Financing Plan
All Aboard Florida has told the state it does not know why any municipality would oppose issuance of tax-exempt bonds to fund a rail project, according to Treasure Coast Newspapers. All Aboard Florida plans to use private-activity bonds to pay off $405M borrowed through a bond offering in July.
Enterprise Florida Releases 2014 Annual Report
Enterprise Florida, Inc. released its 2014 Annual Report. Enterprise Florida is a public-private partnership between Florida's business and government leaders. The Annual Report goes into detail on Enterprise Florida's funding sources and usage.

CDFA Announces USDA Rural Development Partnership
CDFA is excited to announce a two-year partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development. This initiative will first focus on an increase in development finance education and resources for USDA's internal staff of 3,800+ field representatives. The initiative will also promote USDA funding and financing best practices for rural communities.
