P3 to be Utilized to Repair Brent Spence Bridge
According to The Container, Governor Steve Beshear of KY and Governor John Kasich of OH have created a plan to revamp the Brent Spence Bridge which crosses the Ohio River. The governors' transportation teams aim to have a financial plan by the end of 2015 and for construction in 2017.

Cleanup Grants Available Through KY Cleaner Commonwealth Fund
The Cleaner Commonwealth Fund is a grant-and-loan fund that is providing $182,000 for brownfield cleanup projects in Kentucky. According to SurfKY News, the fund offers assistance to businesses, local governments, and non profits to clean up properties and put them back into productive reuse.

Lexington, KY Project Seeks to Transform Downtown Gateway
This article by Kentucky.com explains how Phil Holoubek is leading an effort to redevelop the eastern end of downtown Lexington. Holoubek hopes to implement a tax increment financing district for the redevelopment.

Bluegrass International Fund Approved as EB-5 Regional Center
According to Louisville Business First, the Bluegrass International Fund has been approved as an EB-5 Regional Center. EB-5 Regional Centers provide low-cost financing for qualified projects through foreign investment.

Kentucky Rural Made
As a part of the USDA's commitment to strengthening rural economies, a state-by-state "Made in Rural America" report has been released for each state. Each state's factsheet highlights specific USDA investments in rural businesses, manufacturing, energy, water, and other infrastructure development.
