PA Pay for Success Program Receive Social Innovation Fund Grant Economic Development HQ reports Pennsylvania's Pay for Success program is a subgrantee selected through a competition run by the Harvard Kennedy School. PA Sets Precedent with P3 Deal for Bridges According to The Bond Buyer, Pennsylvania's Rapid Bridge Replacement Project is the first P3 in the U.S. to bundle multiple bridges into a single procurement. Bucks County, PA OKs $2M Support for Keystone NAP Data Center Bucks County, PA approved $2 million in direct financing and loan guarantees for the Keystone NAP data center project. Economic Development HQ reports that the $2M investment will leverage $20M in private funding. . The Economic Viability of Microfinancing in Rural PA This study analyzed the role of microfinancing programs in providing financial services to small businesses located in rural Pennsylvania counties. Microfinancing focuses on providing loans of less than $50,000 to individuals who typically operate a business of five employees or fewer. US EDA Awards $3M for Business Growth Near Pittsburgh Int'l Airport Findlay Township was awarded $3M from the U.S. EDA to upgrade wastewater infrastructure around the Pittsburgh International Airport. Economic Development HQ reports the grant will help Findlay Township industrial parks attract and retain businesses.
