Billions of PACE bonds are being challenged before the state Supreme Court, according to The Bond Buyer. Arguments range from objections about the structures used to establish new bond programs to alleged procedural missteps.

FL Passenger Rail Seeks $1.75B in PABs
All Aboard Florida applied for one of the largest private activity bond allocations ever sought from the Federal Highway Administration. The Bond Buyer says the allocation may be the first time exempt facility bonds have been used for a completely privately owned and operated transportation project .

Swoope: Speeding up Incentives Could Help Land Apple-like Firm
Florida is trying to entice Apple Inc. to build a manufacturing site in the state. However, state lawmakers need to allow more leeway on state incentives packages. Enterprise Florida President and Chief Executive Officer Gray Swoope says that state laws might hinder such economic-development efforts.

Solar and Energy Loan Fund Expanding into Orlando
The Orlando City Commission approved a new partnership with the non-profit Solar and Energy Loan Fund (SELF). SELF if a non-profit community lending organization that provides energy expertise, favorable financing for clean energy solutions, and project management.
