Over $200M in Tax Credits Available to CA Businesses
There are over $200 million of tax credits available in California. The credit awards are based on a number of factors, such as expansion plans to create jobs in California, investment in California, and opportunity for future growth. According to Valley News, the tax credits were made available as part of the governor's Economic Development Initiative (GEDI).

CA Property Owners Win Access to Financing Improvements
According to PR Newswire, Los Angeles property owners now have access to financing seismic strengthening, energy-related, and water conservation improvements through a new program approved by the Los Angeles City Council.

Expanding Financing Program for Energy-Efficiency Projects
Marin County officials have expanded a program that provides funding through a property tax bill assessment. According to Marinij, this program will make it easier for property owners in unincorporated areas to finance solar, water conservation, and other efficiency projects. The program initially only applied to commercial properties, then was expanded to include residential properties.

$1.2M for Nonprofits Working to Strengthen Rural Communities
The Safe and Sound Rural Housing Rehabilitation or Replacement program will help recipient organizations fund the cost of bringing substandard rural homes up to housing codes. According to Market Watch, 50 rural homes will be rehabbed or replaced in five regions to help create communities that are unique and inviting investment opportunities.

RSF Social Finance Purchases $9M in Solar Bonds
RSF Social Finance (RSF) has announced that it has purchased $9 million in solar bonds from SolarCity. According to 3BL Media, RSF lends money to path-breaking social enterprises, provides impact investing accessible to a wide range of investors, manages grant funds, and works to build a finance infrastructure that will allow social enterprises to thrive.
