ELSA Gets Bond Approval for Wastewater Treatment Facility
The Ewing-Lawrence Sewage Authority will issue bonds to fund the remaining cost of upgrades for its wastewater treatment facility. The NJ Environmental Infrastructure Trust will supply the remaining $4.6 million to finish the project.

NY TDC Issues $2.5B for LaGuardia P3
The New York Transportation Development Corporation will issue $2.5 billion of special facilities bonds to support LaGuardia Airport's $4 billion renovation, one of the biggest, most complex P3 projects in the United States.

NJSEA to Issue $675M for Shopping Complex
The East Rutherford Borough Council voted to shift responsibility for issuing $675 million in bonds for the completion of American Dream Meadowlands, the massive shopping and entertainment complex, to the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Gloucester Co, NJ RLF Receives $250K Infusion
The Gloucester County Small Business Revolving Loan Fund received an infusion of $50,000 from the county and $200,000 from the Cooperative Business Assistance Corp.

NJCC Launches THRIVE Initiative, NJEDA Contributes $1M
New Jersey Community Capital announced the first investments under its THRIVE South Jersey initiative, a $13 million loan fund. A $1 million loan from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority will be used to boost the loan fund.

ESD Awards $3M to Accelerate NY Seed Fund
Empire State Development has awarded Accelerate Long Island $3 million to establish the Accelerate NY Seed Fund. The fund was chosen to commercialize tech from universities, and invest up to $100,000 in preseed stage startups in the Mid-Hudson, NYC and Long Island regions

The Agency Board Incentives for Century Sunrise Project in Johnson City
Regan Development will finance the project using federal and state housing tax credits, historic tax credits, and CDBG disaster-relief funds. CDBG is short for community development block grant program. The Broome County IDA will provide a 30-year payment in lieu of taxes (or PILOT) agreement to assist the project.

Four New NY Green Bank Transactions Generating $220M
Gov. Cuomo announced the closing of four new NY Green Bank transactions, which are expected to generate up to $220 million in clean energy projects, including more than 6,200 residential rooftop solar installations across the state.

PSE&G Wants to Expand Solar Capabilities With $275M Project
Public Service Electric & Gas Company wants to extend its Solar 4 All program, investing $275 million in solar projects on landfills and brownfields by 2021. PSE&G would design and construct 100 megawatts of grid-connected capacity in its New Jersey territory over the next five years.

Schumer to Feds: Expedite Nipper Application for Historic Tax Credits
U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer urged the National Park Service and the State Historic Preservation Office to immediately add the "Nipper" building to the National Register of Historic Places. Schumer said this historic designation is the key to unlocking vital federal Historic Tax Credits for an ambitious adaptive reuse of the "Nipper Building".
