Incentives, VC Brings ChartSpan to Greenville, SC
ChartSpan Medical Technologies, Inc. will bring 300 new healthcare jobs to downtown Greenville, SC. ChartSpan participated in a SC Healthcare Accelerator Program in 2013, and has since received tax incentives from the SC DOC.

Legacy Charter School Receives $13.7M in NMTC
Greenville New Markets Opportunity II has allocated $13.7 million in New Markets Tax Credits to Legacy Charter School for the construction and renovation of facilities in Greenville, SC. 

Orangeburg, SC Council Approves Agribusiness Incentives
Orangeburg County Council approved a resolution allowing agribusiness investments to receive economic development incentives. An agribusiness must invest $5 million within Orangeburg, County to receive the incentives.

Phase 2 of $15M Project Begins on Maybank Highway
Phase 2 of the Maybank Highway Improvements Project aims to alleviate afternoon congestion on the Paul J. Gelegotis Bridge. Charleston Co. is authorized to issue $205 million in bonds for transportation projects. 

S.C. Angel Network Invests Undisclosed Sum in Crowdr.tv
Crowdr.tv, a Charleston-based crowdfunding platform, received an early-stage capital investment from the South Carolina Angel Network.

SC State Port Authority Pursues $30M Project in Dillon Co.
S.C. State Ports Authority announced plans to pursue a second inland port facility in Dillon to accompany its 3-year-old S.C. Inland Port in Greer. The port is considering a site within the Carolinas I-95 Mega Site, a roughly 2,500-acre industrial park.
