The Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) is proud to announce the winners of the 2015 Ohio Financing Roundtable Excellence Awards. This years winners include TechGROWTH Ohio, REEB Avenue Center, and Tracey Nichols.

According to the Bond Buyer, an Ohio lawmaker is asking voters to authorize $1 billion of bonds to finance sewer and water projects across the state. Under the proposal, the state would issue $100 million annually over the next 10 years.

Ohio has received more than $18.7 million in State Small Business Credit Initiative funds to help small businesses access capital to grow and create jobs, the U.S. Treasury Department announced recently.

Four companies obtained incentives from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority for their job commitments to create 185 full-time jobs. According to Cincinnati.com the announcement creates opportunity for foreign direct investment from China and investment from smaller, innovative companies with high growth potential.

The GAR Foundation has awarded more than $2 million to 38 community organizations, including $500,000 to the Development Fund of the Western Reserve that will go into its newly created Targeted Loan Fund.
