PA Senate Sends $31B Budget to House
Pennsylvania lawmakers planned to reconvene state budget talks on Monday with the stalemate between Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf and the Republican-dominated legislature over the fiscal 2016 spending plan into its sixth month.

PEDFA-Financed Project Selected as Northeast 'Deal of the Year'
The Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority's $721.5 million bridge project was named the "Deal of the Year." According to the Central Penn Business Journal, it is the first P3 in the U.S. to bundle multiple projects into a single procurement to save on costs.

DCED Announces New Loans Approved by PA Industrial Development Authority
The Department of Community and Economic Development announced that new state investments through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) program will support the continued growth of Pennsylvania small businesses.

Dunmore Medical Complex Project to Move Forward with TIF
A developer's proposal to expand a medical office complex could become a reality through TIF. According to the Times-Tribune, the money generated would go to infrastructure costs like sewer lines, sewage pumps, water lines, and excavation for gas lines.

Amtrak Station in PA to Get Transit-Oriented Plans
According to Progressive Railroading, Pennsylvania's Public-Private Partnership board approved an initiative to support transit-oriented development at an Amtrak station in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
