Lake Worth Receives $1.4M Infrastructure Grant from USEDA
The U.S. Economic Development Administration has provided the City of Lake Worth with $1.4 million in federal grant money to make infrastructure improvements to The Park of Commerce.
Florida Solid Waste Authority Awards $500K in Blight Grants
The Solid Waste Authority of the Palm Beach County Governing Board has approved $500,000 of Blighted and Distressed Property Cleanup and Beautification Grants for seven county projects.
Jacksonville Project Could Bring 450 New Jobs, $5.95M in Capital Investment
As reported by the Jacksonville Business Journal, an unnamed company has promised to create 450 new jobs in Jacksonville's financial services sector in exchange for $2.84 million in city and state incentives.
$79.5M in Bonds Issued for FL Waterside Development
The Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District has issued $79.5 million in bonds to finance the Villages of Lakewood Ranch South project.
Springs Funding Added to Everglades Fix
Florida House and Senate committees have approved companion legislation that, if passed, would direct as much as $200 million a year to South Florida water projects. The projects are expected to be financed by Florida Forever.
Gables Selling Bonds for Miracle Mile Streetscape
Coral Gables residents have one more month to purchase bonds that will finance the Miracle Mile Streetscape Project. The city commission recently approved a resolution that locks in a maximum price of $21.6 million for the project.
FL Catastrophe Fund Preps $1.2B High-Grade Taxable Deal
The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund will sell $1.2 billion of high-grade taxable bonds in order to make payments on insurance claims from damages caused by hurricanes
