PA Transportation Bill Brings Unprecedented Investment to Infrastructure
The Pennsylvania General Assembly passed a comprehensive transportation bill to fund roads, bridges, mass transit, rail freight, ports, and airports over the next five years. The legislation contains a funding plan that will invest roughly $7.4 billion over the next five years and generate $2.3 billion in additional annual revenue once implementation is completed in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.
Appalachian Regional Commission: Improving Economies & Lives
ARC initiatives include highway corridors; community water and sewer facilities, telecommunication, and other physical infrastructure; health, education, and human resource development; economic development programs; local capacity building; and leadership development.

The Environmental Remediation Fund provides low interest loans to support environmental remediation of petroleum contamination, specifically focusing on the Lower Schuylkill region of Philadelphia.
Allentown Recognized for P3 and NIZ
Bond Buyer's Deal of the Year recognizes Allentown as the Northeast Region honoree for their creation of a Neighborhood Improvement Zone and a successful close of a Public-Private Partnership lease for water and sewer infrastructure.
