City of Independence Considers Annexing 11 Acres for Grocery Store
The City of Independence is considering annexing more than 11 acres for the development of a 55,000 square foot grocery store, The Examiner reports.
Kansas City Plans Mixed-Use Hotel, Apartment Towers
Plans for a mixed-use project calling for twin apartment and hotel towers on land Commerce Bank owns just north of the Country Club Plaza will be considered during the Dec. 1 meeting of the Kansas City Plan Commission.
KCP&L Proposes Jackson County Solar Farm
The Kansas City Business Journal reports that Kansas City Power & Light Co. has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission to build a solar power generation facility in southeast Jackson County.
St. Louis Unveils Development Plan for Pruitt-Igoe Site
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, the City is planning to rezone the Pruitt-Igoe public housing site from multi-family housing to a commercial and office district.
MO Awarded $2.9M to Expand Ethanol Fueling Stations
The Missouri Department of Economic Development has announced that the state has been awarded a federal grant of $2.9M to fund and expand ethanol fueling infrastructure throughout the state.
