Incentives Help Bring Austrian Wood Products to NC
EGGER Wood Products, one of Europe's leading wood-based materials suppliers for the furniture, wood construction and flooring industries, has selected Davidson County in North Carolina as the site of its first U.S. manufacturing plant. The first phase, creating 400 jobs and supported by state and local incentives, will happen over the next six years at the park near Linwood, about 100 miles west of Raleigh.

NC RTP Landlord Creating Unique Campus for Ag-Tech R&D
Already a major landlord in the Research Triangle Park, California-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities is developing a unique multi-tenant research and development campus in the Research Triangle Park to drive North Carolina's global leadership in agricultural biotechnology. There are already two tenants, including AgTech Accelerator Corp. which funds new ag tech companies.

Solar Farm Proposed in Antioch, NC
An application has been filed with the N.C. Utilities Commission for a solar energy farm  in Wilkes County that would be one of the largest such facilities in northwestern North Carolina.

Raleigh, NC, Site of New Soccer Stadium Development
The proposed new MLS stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, is projected to generate about $2 billion for Wake County and $1.5 billion for downtown Raleigh.

NC Sells $554M in Series 2017B Bonds to Goldman Sachs
In the competitive arena on Thursday, the state of North Carolina sold $554.03 million of Series 2017B limited obligation refunding bonds. Goldman Sachs won the bonds with a true interest cost of 2.23314%.
