Orthopaedic Institute for Children Announces $24.5M Project Using NMTC
The monies will help fund a series of new construction projects on its downtown Los Angeles campus including a new urgent care center, physical therapy department and research laboratories. It will also reimburse $9.5 million spent as part of the 2016 construction and opening of OIC's ambulatory surgery center.
CA Appeals Court Affirms State's Cap-And-Trade Program
An appeals court has affirmed the legality of carbon dioxide auctions in California's cap-and-trade program. The program has raised billions of dollars since its inception in 2012 – some of which is going to fund the state's $64 billion high-speed rail that would run from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
Ygrene PACE Program Expands Credit Facility to $410M
Ygrene Energy Fund, a leading national provider of residential, commercial and multifamily PACE (property assessed clean energy) financing, announced that it has upsized its warehouse credit line to $410 million.
Grant Announcement: California Water Commission
California Consulting is pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the California Water Commission Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP). The Commission has announced that starting March 14, 2017, public agencies in California will be able to submit applications for funding of water storage and other infrastructure projects as part of the WSIP program.
Tax Credits Lead to 4 More TV Shows Moving to CA
Legion, Lucifer, The Affair and The OA will relocate to California for favorable tax credits. The first two previously filmed in Vancouver, the latter pair come from New York. All told, the Golden State's latest attempt to lure production back will split $99.2 million across 15 small-screen projects.
