PA Makes $68.1M Available For Water Infrastructure
The state of Pennsylvania is making a significant commitment to water treatment — investing $68 million for twenty drinking water, wastewater, and non-point source projects across fourteen counties through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST).
PA Kicks Off Efforts to Revitalize Coal Country
Pennsylvania's $30 million is expected to leverage an additional $123 million in associated economic development benefits on reclaimed lands in collaboration with government and private partners, including replacing water lines, reconfiguring historic mine shafts, constructing roads and expanding infrastructure.
New Waterfront Development Tax Credit in PA
Pennsylvania organizations hoping to increase development of public amenities and parks along Pennsylvania's waterfronts may soon benefit from the new "Waterfront Development Tax Credit" enacted as part of Act 84, and signed into law by Governor Wolf on July 13, 2016.
2016-17 Budget Recapitalizes ‘Business in Our Sites' Program
Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Dennis Davin today celebrated the move to recapitalize the Business in Our Sites (BOS) program announcing that the Wolf Administration was successful in securing critical funding to support business development efforts.
Gov. Wolf Signs PA Budget
The annual Pennsylvania budget is completed. The swiftness of the deal, reached less than two weeks after the July 1 deadline, stood in contrast to the partisan divide that gridlocked the Capitol last year and had defined much of Mr. Wolf's first term.
