St. Louis Voters Get Bond Question
According to The Bond Buyer, St. Louis voters will decide in an August ballot measure whether the city should issue $180 million of debt to fund infrastructure improvements.
MO Lawmakers Want Vote on Rams Stadium Funding
Six Missouri lawmakers filed a complaint aimed at preventing Gov. Jay Nixon from using revenues that go towards repaying debt on the St. Louis Rams' current stadium to build a new stadium without legislative or voter support, according to The Bond Buyer.
Commerce Tower Project Gets 'Rammed,' Catches TIF Break
The Kansas City Business Journal reports that tax increment financing is being used to supplement a financing setback tied to efforts to finance a new $1 billion football stadium for the St. Louis Rams. The TIF Commission of Kansas City approved $7 million in hard project cost and $11.5 million in financing costs for a mixed-use renovation project.
O'Fallon City Council Moves Forward with TIF
O'Fallon City Council passed an Ordinance authorizing the execution of an agreement with O'Fallon Community School District and O'Fallon Township High School District after much discussion with the public, according to the O'Fallon Progress.
