Auto Supplier Opens North American HQ in Madison Heights, MI
STEC USA, an auto supplier, is opening its North American HQ in Madison Heights, Michigan. The company is expected to create about 176 jobs and bring $15.1M in investment to the city.
Environmental Firm Wins $400K Brownfield Project
Lansing-based PM Environmental has been named the primary contractor on a $400,000 project by the Grand Rapids Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. The project will support efforts to redevelop brownfield sites to increase tax revenue.
Attorney: Detroit Eyes Bankruptcy Exit in Second Week of December
According to Reuters, Detroit has a debt adjustment plan to take effect between December 8 and 10, allowing the city to exit bankruptcy.
