Andrea MacDonald Appointed Director, PA State Historic Preservation Office
The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) has appointed Andrea MacDonald to the role of director of the agency's Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (PA SHPO).

Lehigh Valley to Share in Bank Merger's $16.5B Community Investment
KeyCorp., whose bank is in the process of acquiring First Niagara Bank, the ninth-largest bank in the Lehigh Valley based on deposits, has pledged $16.5 billion over the next five years for low- to moderate-income communities.

Kresge Community Finance RFP
Kresge Community Finance is a $30 million program-related investment finance offering to certified CDFIs and quasi-public or private DFAs. The foundation will select applications through a competitive Request-for-Proposals (RFP).

Pennsylvania finally has a state budget but remains vulnerable to more rating downgrades, said a Philadelphia-based municipal strategist.

French Company Norac Selects Forks, PA for First US Facility
The package of incentive awarded to Norac includes a $186,000 Pennsylvania First program grant and up to $124,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits. The company has also been encouraged to apply for a $2.4 million loan that includes $1 million from PIDA.
