New Round of OH Tax Credits to Create $76M in New Payroll During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in $76 million in new payroll, and spur more than $230 million in investment across Ohio. Standard Building in Downtown Cleveland Receives Historical Conversion BGL Real Estate Advisors LLC is pleased to announce the successful completion of development financing for Weston Inc. The multi-faceted capital structure will support the historical conversion of the Standard Building in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. New Round of OH Tax Incentives to Bring 500 New Jobs A beauty products company's plan to hire 400 workers for a new distribution center in Obetz headlines the latest round of state job-creation tax incentives. Other projects receiving awards will create an additional 100 jobs. New Report Promotes NE OH as 3-D Printing Hub A report released Monday by a team of Northeast Ohio technology organizations highlighted the region's current strengths and future paths forward in additive manufacturing. Cincinnati's Banks Project Recognized as One of the Best Social Infrastructure Projects The Banks Project in Cincinnati has been recognized as one of the "Best Social Infrastructure Projects" throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America and is one of five finalists for the P3 Bulletin's annual P3 Award to be announced in October. Research Shows Cleaning Brownfields Increases Nearby Property Values A study carried out by a Western Reserve Port Authority intern shows property values increased 18 percent in five years around former Mahoning County brownfield sites that were cleaned. And it shows property values adjacent to brownfield sites that had not been cleaned were 66 percent lower than properties one mile away.
