Oak Ridge board OK's $13M TIF for Main Street Oak Ridge
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, the Oak Ridge Development Board approved a $13 million TIF to help fund the development costs associated with the $80 million Oak Ridge Mall redevelopment project.
Town Negotiating TIF Agreement with Life Science Company
The Daily Times Chronicle reports that the Board of Selectmen in Burlington, MA have authorized staff to negotiate a TIF agreement to relocate a Life Science company to 'The Summit' campus.
New BID in Downtown L.A.
The Los Angeles Business Journal reports that the South Park II Business Improvement District has formed downtown after City Council approval.
Joplin City Council Approves TIF Proposal
The Joplin City Council approved a TIF district and corresponding Community Improvement District, according to the Joplin Globe. The districts will reimburse $37 million of development costs slated for a $230 million redevelopment plan for parts of South Hearnes Boulevard.
New TIF District Expected to Bring $136M Value
The Mount Pleasant Village Board has approved a new 260 acre TIF district, according to the Racine County Eye. The district will help fund $19.6 million in infrastructure, but will see an estimated $136 million in anticipated value.
