CDFA Releases Roadmap to Redevelopment for the Former Native Service Hospital in Anchorage, AK
The Roadmap to Redevelopment Report was developed through a 2-day process that included interviews with numerous stakeholders from the government, agriculture, business, and non-profit sectors. The plan provides a framework for the financing of the redevelopment for the Former Native Alaska Service Hospital.

WI Could be First State to Expand Opportunity Zone Tax Incentives
In Wisconsin, a bill is working its way through the state Legislature to make the program more enticing to investors. But critics say tax incentives for the wealthy could lead to poorer people being displaced from their neighborhoods. Under state Senate Bill 440, Wisconsin could become one of the first states to give even larger tax breaks to the investors who are the primary beneficiaries of this tax policy.

EPA Announces $2.7B for Water Infrastructure State RLFs
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the availability of $2.7 billion for State Revolving Funds. EPA provides funding to all 50 states and Puerto Rico to capitalize SRF loan programs. The states and Puerto Rico contribute an additional 20 percent to match the federal grants. The 51 SRF programs function like infrastructure banks by providing low-interest loans to eligible recipients.

Kresge Foundation Releases RFI for Human Services / Social Investment Practices
The Kresge Foundation seeks to gain a stronger understanding of the current and unmet demand for grant and non-grant forms of capital to support social and economic mobility through workforce development and minority entrepreneurship. Depending on what is learned, the Foundation may pursue grant and/or PRI opportunities or inform practitioners about emerging workforce development financing efforts.

True Green Capital Management Closes $84M in Debt and Tax Equity Financing
True Green Capital Management, a specialized energy infrastructure asset management firm, today announced that its has closed on $42.8 million in debt financing and $41.1 million in tax equity financing supporting NY Solar Farms, a 70 megawatt community solar portfolio located in central and northeastern New York State.

Petros PACE Provides Financing for 2 Tulsa, OK Hotels
Ross Group secured $3.2 million in C-PACE financing from Petros PACE Finance, LLC for the recently completed renovation and conversion of the historic Tulsa Club building into a 90-room Hilton Curio hotel. Also, $1.7 million in C-PACE financing was secured for the building of the 116-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Downtown. The deals mark the first C-PACE transactions to close in Oklahoma.

Petros PACE Provides $4.2M in Financing for Historic Boutique Hotel
Petros PACE Finance LLC has provided a $4.2 million commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) loan for the conversion of a historic building in downtown Omaha into a boutique hotel. The seven-story building will be operated as a 90-key Hotel Indigo, with additional space reserved for condos and ground-level retail. The redevelopment project includes energy-saving improvements to the property's lighting, HVAC, windows, roofing and plumbing systems.

NM Releases Economic Development Innovation Task Force Report
In 2019, the Governor signed House Memorial 16 directing the Economic Development Department (NMEDD) to bring together stakeholders and convene an Economic Development Innovation Task Force to spur collaboration and innovative discussions on methods to create new economic development concepts and ideas to enhance New Mexico's economy. This report is the result.
