Finance Authority Issued Its First Columbus Region Energy Loan
The Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority issued its first energy loan to Trinity Lutheran Seminary for lighting and building automation energy improvements.
Lyndhurst Council Signs Bond Sale for Parking Garage
According to Cleveland.com, the new Hyatt Place Hotel project will be made possible by an agreement with Lyndhurst City Council and Legacy Village Investors to permit the sale of $15 million in bonds for a 355-space parking garage. This deal comes in the wake of the City's first TIF agreement to divert $12-$15 million in property taxes to pay for construction costs.
Swiss Company Financing $899M Power Plant in Carroll County
Advance Power has closed a $899 million project for construction of the Carroll County Energy project. According to Market Wired, the 700-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas electric generating facility will have the capacity to generate electricity for approximately 750,000 homes.
Columbus Region Energy Fund Program Overview
The Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority can provide financing for Central Ohio businesses, non-profits and local governments to fund cost-effective, energy efficiency improvements to buildings resulting in lower energy costs.
