Floyd County, GA Given $2.6M for Water Infrastructure, Water Line Replacement Begins
Gov. Andy Beshear on Tuesday announced the start of a project to replace almost 20,000 feet of waterlines and $2.6 million in funding to improve water infrastructure in Floyd County. Projects include Wayland to Lackey water line replacement, KY-680 Minnie to KY-80 waterline extension/connector and Wheelwright water treatment.

More Than 40 Nevada-Based Startups Will Receive Federal SSBCI Matching Funds
The SSBCI funds will be invested in 10 Nevada companies at a pre-seed stage (less than $500,000 in revenue) and another 30 companies at the seed stage ($500,000 to $2 million in revenue) over a three-year period. All 40 companies receiving investments will have participated in StartUpNV programs, including its AngelNV education bootcamp or its business accelerator.

USDA Announces $400M Available to Create Regional Food Business Centers
The USDA announced the availability of approximately $400M to provide essential local and regional food systems coordination, technical assistance, and capacity building services through USDA's new Regional Food Business Centers.

The cohort, collectively referred to as the Alaska Mariculture Cluster, presented a goal of growing Alaska mariculture into a $100 million industry over the next 10 years.

Dickson, TN City Council Approves Bond Issuance for Electric Broadband Project
The city council of Dickson, Tennessee unanimously approved a resolution to authorize the issuance of up to $50 million in Electric System Revenue Bonds to finance public power utility Dickson Electric System's (DES) broadband project.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky on Thursday plans final pricing of $233 million of special obligation revenue bonds that will finance renovations across a wide portfolio of state-managed properties. The bonds will be issued by the Kentucky State Property and Buildings Commission in two tranches.

New Mexico EDD-State Fund Manager
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select a State Fund Manager (CONTRACTOR) to manage a statewide healthy food financing initiative (HFFI). The NM Economic Development Department (EDD) seeks an administrative partner State Fund Manager to assist in the roll out of a new pilot, the Healthy Food Financing Fund (HFFF).
