OK Wind Development Behind Zero-Emissions Tax Credit
Oklahoma added almost 1,200 megawatts of wind capacity in the last three months of 2016 as it leapfrogged California to take third place among the states for wind capacity.

The Olathe Planning Commission approved rezoning for a new youth soccer complex. The $27 million project will make use of TIF, industrial revenue bonds, and a community improvement district to help offset some of the development costs.

OKC's Council Green Lights TIF for Wheeler District
The Wheeler District plan for tax increment financing, or TIF, provides for reinvestment of up to $120 million in newly generated tax revenue in infrastructure, such as water, sewer and sidewalks, and in new schools. Up to $60 million could go to offset financing costs.

KS Bill Aims to Offer Tax Credits to Aviation Graduates, Employers
A bill introduced this week in a Kansas House committee would provide tax credits to recent graduates of aerospace and aviation educational programs, and their employers.

OKC City Council Approves $120M TIF
The Oklahoma City Council approved a $120 million tax increment financing plan for the Western Gateway TIF District near downtown.
